Street legal ... airplane?




You can buy one for about the same price as a Cessna. Drive it to the airport, open the wings, fly to your destination, fold the wings, drive home.

I know they've had James Bond type stuff like this before, but I think this might be a first production vehicle instead of one-offs.

They've been doing this stuff for years...since the '50s. Never really caught on because flight is damn expensive.

With wings folded, it's 80 inches wide -- 6.66 feet.
(uh-oh, not a good number.)

You can do the same thing with rx8, and look better doing it.
