Lol it'll be like that Williams car. Ground effects, gps activated moveable wings, 1400 hp on tap. Plus todays tech upped a bit. 200 hp kers for 10+ seconds. Blown diffusor. Active suspension. It'll destroy todays lap times.

That's what I would do.
Bounce to this weekend. On Thursday I drove into the Circuit of the Americas for the first time and stood at the bottom of the uphill-climbing turn one, staring wide-eyed for five minutes at this gorgeous 3.4-mile circuit—designed, by the way, by (Tavo) Hellmund and motorcycle racing legend Kevin Schwantz, and not by Hermann Tilke as some propaganda would have you believe. Sure, Tilke's company engineered it, but the layout is Hellmund's and Schwantz's all the way. Unlike many road courses, it features excellent sightlines and multiple spectator areas offering great views of more than a single corner or straightaway. As a complete, modern facility, it stands absolutely unrivaled by any racing venue on this continent. Period.

Can't you see Moto GP bikes going through those Esses?

Looking a little tough for Ferrari right now. They have just squeezed in to Q3. Schumi finished in P14 in Q2 and is out . He did not always drive like a gent in his career but he seems to be quite the gent in life. A real ambassador for the sport. Someone I would not mind meeting.

Big big pole position for Lewis in his last race for McLaren. Front row lockout as well. The two championship contenders have been out qualified by team mates. The rain will make it interesting for sure.

I feel something interesting will go down. Fernando can still fight. We shall see.

It's far from over. Alonso is a fantastic starter. All he needs is third. It'll be raining which will help Alonso and hurt Vettel. McLaren and red bull reliability might play into Alonso's hands.

Alonso adopted a high downforce-wet setup, they say.

Yeah i heard the same. And judging from his qualifying position i'd say it's true. If he can make up a couple spots at the start and if it rains hard enough he should be able to get a podium. Now it's just hoping that that damn alternator on Vettel's car craps out or he runs into trouble with the weather or gets taken out. If the car stays in one piece it'll take a miracle for Alonso to get the title.

I already know exactly what will happen....(it is an Aussie way of 'helping TEAM M8's, something Seb should LEARN)...

Alonso will be given a chance.......nothing like a little 'shunt' at the right time of a car chase..hey Webby Baby!!
...

BTW: Paul about to PM you M8.

**** Vettel. He overtook kobayashi under yellow flags and nobody gave him a drive thru.
He's Bernie's pet.

And so ends Lewis' race and his McLaren career.

Go Fernando. Take that championship.
