OBD Port locations

Anyone have link to a website that shows where OBD ports are located on cars?

I need to check a 2000 Mercury Cougar if you are curious - thanks.

2000 is probably OBD2...so it should be very close to the steering column or ignition switch
OBD2 specs say it is supposed to be within 3 ft of the driver and accessible without using tools....look behind the ashtray or under the dash first

I've used a scan tool on a 2000 Cougar. The port location is in the driver’s foot well. I don't remember the exact location, but I think it may be facing perpendicular to the ground (or something odd like that - but it is there).

Besides the CEL,

The car is still at the dealership - they cannot pinpoint the engine noise yet. It has 110K on the block. Oil level was good, some they want to pull the valve cover at look at the top end...
