This article saves the exciting news for the end. It seems that a small number of Namirs will be built by the end of the year and next year they plan on going racing.

There's also a serial hybrid taxi with a single rotor 407cc Wankel range extender in development for London that is supposed to be unveiled this month.

The above linked article says the Diesel used in the Malaysian Metrail test track is 1.6L so I suppose it could be a 4-rotor.

Frazer-Nash is also looking for a partner to develop a delivery truck with a 1.4L Diesel range extender--doesn't say if it's a Wankel either. The quiet serial hybrid drivetrain is touted as ideal for night time deliveries.
