Nice thanks Hanzo.... I can't get enough of these F1 vids.

Tell you the truth I thought the Bike was gonna take it... What do you think those bikes run in the quarter? Low 10's would be my guess.... so that prob puts the F1 in at least the low 10's???? Just throwing crap out cause I have no idea so tell me how fast they really are!!

I don't know how fast they are, but under 10 for sure I would think. Stock 600's run 10's.

Not sure but they aren't made for drag, it's the stopping and corning that's amazing. I think they do 0-62mph in 2.5 seconds.

Hey Ike is there any way you could send me that video of the F50 racing? And what the crap is wrong with posting a video of one of the sweetest cars ever cruising around? that's LAME imo.
I've got another Topgear video where they compare the F50 to the F1 car, they claimed the F50 does 0-100 on 4.8 seconds which was pretty close to the F1 car <shrugs>

Here's that video, there's really no racing involved just speeding around and it's in europe so I hope I don't get yelled at

Ya hanzo I would think that with someone else, but Ike wouldn't make that mistake, at least I don't think

And the EVO mag I got those #'s out of specifies mph. So, if that's true Ike that is mighty impressive!!! And if Ike was confusing them, and they claimed a 0-100kph of 4.8, that's way too slow for the F50 since that would be the 0-60 mph number. Thanks for that vid man, awesome. At the end when the F50 takes off on the right side of the tunnel it sounds sooo good.

Ha, that's a neat Honda video (and interesting comparison at that). Not sure, though, why the boat guy thought he would come from behind, considering the F1 does 3x his speed and they're completely on a straightaway :D

Haha I thought the same thing Mark, the only chance he had (the boat) was to carry enough speed since he was on a roll to begin with. But "coming from behind" was not the way to put that.

These are the exact numbers Topgear listed...

F1 car was 0-60 in 3 seconds and 3.4 0-100 topspeed 206. The F50 was 0-60 3.7 and 0-100 in 4.8, topspeed 202, and yes those are MPH. I don't know if they made a mistake but when taking the two around a track together they claimed that up to 160mph the F50 kept up remarkably well.

If they are comparing F50 it's probably compared to an older F1 car. The 0-62mph in 2.5 is from 2 years ago, Williams FW25 F1 car: http://www.sportnetwork.net/main/s107/st36352.php

0-60 in 3 seconds sounds more like a F3000 (one step lower than F1).

From what TopGear said the Enzo F60 is the fastest they've ever tested around the track: http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/powerlaps/ Which is no match with the F1 car on semi wet condition (F60: 1.19.0) (Renault F1 RB25: 59.0)

Here is the Top Gear video with the F1: http://www.blingblingvids.com/f1.avi Here is the codec so you can watch if you don't already have it: http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/

It was an F1 car that was a few years older than the F50 that Prost won the championship with.

Man old school, Prost, yeah it's probably the old Ferrari. Modern cars are a lot faster and break extremely better.
