Mazda RX-VISION Concepts
The only way to find out is to read it, and find out if it's new, which for the last year or so, IT'S NOT.
more rotary BS news that's a rehash from 23h ago: https://www.forbes.com/sites/quora/2.../#7b5ec17f3c79
It served it's purpose when Mazda had their official dog and pony show.
I think since then it's been discussed to death, and should be locked until Ash8 or zoom44 get some new factual information on an official rotary POWERED vehicle, and NOT any 'Range Extender' BS.
Either that or change the thread title to "Mazda Vision Fairy Tales".

I know it's not a car, but they say they can get it through Euro4 tests. Perhaps this can give us hope?

Yes great. I was fortunate to have owned an RX3, two RX4's and all three generations of RX7, raced a modded one, and loved them all . Legends for sure. Love my RX8 too. Thanks for the post !

Betteridge's law of headlines: "Any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no."

Meaning the rest of the article is a complete waste of time.
But hey, Mazda did put out another nicely-done feel-good video about their passion for design yesterday. I really like Kodo design and dig Jinba Ittai (and the Jinba Ittai Ambassador
), but neither of those get me excited when applied to yet-another SUV/CUV/POS.

That sure helps to keep "Those who Love to Drive" buying your cars.
They never get tired of waiting for your next great vehicle to hit the market.

Thought the same, well it is 50 years, there goes that landmark of launching a 'new' rotary to celebrate, but the Tokyo Motor Show is coming this October, I guess they have a year to keep calling it a 50 year party..
This Vid is a lot of trouble just to show it is 50 years, well it is actually 45 as they have not been making ANY ROTARY since 2012.(first time ever).
Then there is the 100 year Celebration coming up soon?..
Either way IF Mazda builds A Hybrid with a mini Rotary Generator it is not what we want, ALL RE or no RE.
