Mid 20s if I had to guess. 1 thing that has to be done with the next RX is have a viable Speed variant that will rival the 370Z in power output.

If the car looks anything like that it needs to compete with the G37 and not the Z. It would move up market and start at close to 30k, especially where the dollar to Yen seems to be going.

Then in theory, it should be Mazda's Genesis, yet trump it in every way imaginable. RX-7 to take on the Genesis Coupe, RX-8 or 9 to take on the sedan (in 4 door coupe styling).

+1.

a lighter an shorter veichle can compete with Z.

Question to US customers: do you think that a car like the white one (see PS above) can compete in overall image with G37 sedan &coupè..?
i assume that have a electric assisted rotary and similar power to infiniti G's.

g 37 sedan starts @ $ 35400

g 37 coupè starts @ $ 36600

I think its a stretch to ask consumers to buy into a Rotary car in that price range out of the gate. Mazda would be smart to follow Hyundai's template for gaining market share, as I eluded to earlier. Mazda doesn't carry the same prestige, and image as Infiniti does. Neither does Hyundai, but that didn't stop them from creating the Genesis platform which has been very successful.
