This aint no far fetched "hey it kinda looks like 8" thread. Check out the Ford Losis. I don't have any more info on the car, but from what I've read, and what you can see, it's RX-8 based.

Oh wow... this does look like the 8. From fenders and fender grille and body lines, its an 8. Rear doors are bigger though.

 

Dammit I searched for Losis and nothing came up.

Looks good. Definitely looks similar too. Biggest difference? The hood is twice as big as the rx8's =)

Too bad Ford's too braindead to release anything that nice. They might actually sell well without rebates - we all know Ford doesn't actually want to sell cars, so they'll do something to screw it up.

Thing is that its already too late! Everyone knows that Ford makes pretty crappy stuff expect for there trucks. People would be too skeptical about buying cars that look too high tech coming from the US. I know Ford makes Mazda But not everyone knows that.

 

Maybe it will throw bigger flames than the 8 does too!

those wheels look pretty lambo-ish....ive seen other lambo copycats (same style rim) on other recent concept vehicles, too

 

that is simply not true. that have ownership but they dont make the cars. except the mazda 6 which is built at the plant where the mustangs are built. but the mazda6 is built locally in each region. and its still a Mazda platform.

 

Apparently you are included in that group. Ford does not 'make' Mazda....they own 33% of Mazda stock making Ford the majority shareholder of Mazda.

 

Yup thats why on the window sticker its states that like 96% of this car is built in Japan

 

I wonder what 4% is built outside Japan, and where.
