I'm hoping to inspire some of my friends to get them
They run from $300 to $4,000 and man,you ought to see the hand-made Italian bikes....absolute scale replicas of racing bikes, and they go as fast as 60mph....the pics of the racers, many of them 6' tall, screaming around a track at speeds....just cracked me UP!
Where I'm at,these qualify as 'scooters',and can be (but likely shouldn't be) ridden on the street(the one I'm buying has a speedo, twin headlights, and brake/blinker lights)so I'm gonna' get me a vanity plate (something like 2FAST,LMAO!) and take it to the beach in my 4-Runner and cruise around on it....I'll get pics, never worry....it should be a huge giggle.....
(Yeah, you'll get LOTS of chicks on a micro-bike,lolol!)

Anyhow,more,later!

Man, its funny cuz I had another window open looking at this exact model when I stumbled upon this link while I was looking at RX-8 stuff.

I think destiny is callin me.

You never would have known how small they are until you see a real person on one. Man, that must be uncomfortable!

I just don't get the appeal of them if you're an adult and can get a real motorcycle.

I've got a pocket bike I'de LOVE to sell..its got about 15hours on it, its 12hp, racing slicks, racing exhaust, ported, duel disc breaks in front, single disc in the rear, etc.. Fast as hell, it actually scares me.

Paid $2200, asking $1000 in Austin, TX. (You'll have to come to me to pick it up-- test drives available if you've got the $ with you)

I got a red BOSS 49cc mini GP.
It's a 'midi' sized bike,and as I'm 6'1 a bike even tinier
really isn't an option.
I bought this as a toy,hell,it was only $449.00,shipped.
It's not one of the $3500 handmade Italian 1/8-scale replicas,
though if this one proves to be fun I might investigate the higher end of the hobby.
For now,I'm just gonna' tear around on this one until some cop figures out that he needs to halt my rampage, then I'll pay my fine and likey end my reign of terror :D
I'll post some pics when I get the bike,it shipped today,it should be a real hoot!

There is a super mini bike where you can fit it in the back of the RX-8's trunk. A bunch of knockoff China specials are in Downtown LA for 400 bucks.

When I went to China/HK for a tradeshow a few weeks ago, the bikes were $150 US. I would have bought one and take it home... but then I'd have to wear a helmet riding the tiny bike here in my area, which is rather geeky.

No helmet laws here, but they are not DOT certified,so they don't have a cert.of origin, and you can't register them hereabouts....
However,I will (attempt to) ride on the road, and get some video.
It'll be worth the ticket, just to get pulled over riding one of these things, and get plenty of pics and vid :D
Then I can post the pics here, and it'll be a good laugh!

That's the plan.

Im picking one of these up in a month or 2 aswell, tell me how it rides and how fast it actually goes. I only weigh like 135 and im 5'7 so im sure i can go faster than your top speed. A friend and i are both getting them to cruise around the streets on, hoping to eventually get a big pack of them cruisin around.

wouldn't they just be classified the same as recreational mopeds, and don't need to be registered?
