buying another vehicle need advice

Hi everyone, I will buy another vehicle and can`t decide which to buy. ( I`m keeping my rx8 ) I`m stuck between a toyota tacoma and a jeep rubicon. I already own a tacoma so I know how good they are but have never owned a jeep. I`m getting mixed reviews about the jeep and also chrysler warranties. Has anyone here ever owned a jeep or owns one and can tell me what they think about it. I would really appreciate your help.

What are you going to do with it? Do you go rock climbing or off roading?

A real Rubicon? careful of Dealers that slap Rubicon stickers on non Rubicon's. Also if you don't really off road why buy something fully locked? If you do then are we talking about a TRD Tacoma?

I hunt and fish. I go in some quite rough roads full of mud, rocks and hills to get to the good lakes. My favorite spot i'm not even sure that I would take the rubicon down the hill, it's really a bad hill and far away in the bush. I live in northern ontario so i go to the bush often. That's why i'm contemplating a rubicon. A TRD tacoma is also a possibility and the FJ cruiser. I just thought that the rubicon might be better off in the really bad stuff without doing any mods on it. The toyotas I would have to change tires as soon as I buy one. Hunting season is almost here and I have to decide fast. Anyone have any experience with the rubicon?

Sounds like a job for a Forester XT - 2.5 liter, turbo, loads of room and ground clearance, yet *****-to-the-wall power!

The XT has the same drivetrain as a late model Subaru STi.

Don't buy a Jeep, they are crap, (bills to prove).

"Hear me now, and believe me later" - pieces drop off a Jeep that other cars don't even have.

You're welcome.
