Ouch...thats funny because the last time I checked the army now requires a minimum score of 26 ((previously 31)) while the marines require a score of 32...

Not to brag either....but I had perfect line scores and was one of only like 6 people to do so in the past couple years for the marines

26.... wow. I once saw an Army E4 that seriously looked 70 years old...and he had a cane. HA HA.

So many Marine jokes, so little time.... seriously, I do love the Corps, I just like to mess with you guys. I even do it to my dad.

You can't generalize all HS kids. Some people going off like it's the end of the world.
BUT!... I am against giving a 500hp beast to a HS kid. Unless they swapped in a civic engine, the car had AWD and proper winter tires. Oh don't forget the 1st aid kit and roadside emergency kit. That is the only way my kid will get a Lambo, if I had the money.

Don't worry its all in good nature....besides if the Army wasn't in Iraq half my duty which is solely protecting the 1st cav would be useless....it would simply mean more time in the FOB.....so you guys not only provide a good laugh...but you give me a purpose to be there

US ARMY.....So easy a Caveman can do it

I dont know why everyone fuels the fire, he came on here to gloat. You all started drooloing "I wanna be part of your family" And started bashing him and his friend.

I'm a parent and If I had the money I would be buying it for my kids as well. As you can see his parents have bad taste anyways. I would've got him a TVR Sagaris.

From where I come from, my family has everything I have. So if I made it, it is my kids. Thats not to say you should'nt teach them moral ethics and responsibility.

Anyways dont get your junk all bunched up over this.

Wealth is somewhat relative. I heard (of course, you can "hear" anything) that only 8% of the world population owns any type of car.

I spend more going out to see a movie that what a Mexico police man earns in a week.

But if you can afford a Lambo in H.S., well, that just rocks

Oh, my H.S. car was a 73 Ford Pinto.

I wonder how much his insurance premium is. HS age male, driving new Lambo Gallardo, previously wrecked a Lambo Gallardo.

I dont think getting the second Lambo is a good way to teach a kid the value of money.

If that lambo has survived since the OP, I'd be surprised.

My bosses daughter drove a C63 since they came out up until a couple weeks ago when she got her 2011 Cayanne. Some of you guys are looking at from your financial perspective.

My boss buying a Cayanne for his daughter is like me buying a Corolla for my son. Sure a Lambo to you guys is a lot but not too someone who makes $150,000.00 a month. My bosses daughter is a wonderful young lady who never got so much as a B in a very very difficult private school and starts at Stanford next week. She deserves it.

Hell, maybe this kid is a great kid.

very good points 9k. but although the analogy is good, the "value of a dollar" is the same no matter how much money a family makes. what if this guy (or that daughter) doesn't go into the family business...and wants to do something else, like teach...but he/she grew up with fancy cars and houses, he/she might have a tough time living on 30-50k per year. no matter how rich, i just don't think kids need 100k+ cars...it doesn't TEACH them anything positive, imo.

Meh, one of my closest friends is the child of a two doctor (cardiologist and Infectious disease doc) family. They had more money than they could ever need (actually bred stallions and owned the horse from the Black Stallion movie). He was spoiled brat as a kid/teenager and him and his brother went through cars like crazy, some of which they purposely damaged (Nuetral drops in a Mitsu Starion, haha) to get another.

He and his wife are both teachers and he is the most grounded guy you will ever meet. It took him some years to get back to earth and get that way but still....

has nothing to do with money. money is something people and societies have made up, it has no real value other than what we apply to it

has everything to do with responsibility(not financial).

you have a 10yo son who wants something to plink targets/varmints with. He's been around BB/pellet guns before, prolly even shot a couple. SO, in your infinite wisdom, simply because you can afford to - you buy him a Barret .50 rifle

after the government seizes one for misuse, you buy him another. pure ******* genius

if you ask me, those parents willingly endanger their kid and everyone on the road with him. you simply dont stick a kid in a car like that and expect them not to end up and a stain on the road. sucks for the kid, cause he's prolly not mature enough to understand it, but were that to happen i'd have to smile at Darwanism in action. Prevent fools like that from passing on the retard genes

Yeah I guess we can agree to disagree. You are assuming the kid is irresponsible. I would rather have a responsible kid with a 50 cal than an irresponsible kid with a bb gun.

irresponsible kid isnt something i could be the judge of....

the first time you got on a bicycle i bet you were taking off sweet jumps, and doing little drift style slides and everything huh? just like a kid behind the wheel of a supercar has all the needed skills and experience to handle it safely, given to him telepathically on his 16th birthday
