WHY?!? how can you ask such a question? do you realize that something like this is the ultiamte form of spoild? is that a ferrari or Aston in your avatar? i should never have to ask a highschool kid that question. im not suprised a family with globs of money would buy their newly licensed kid a sports car, but jeeze a lambo...not everyones a genius. and then get him another after he crashes, cmon. wait no to get him one in the first place is insane. i usually dont say this, but if you want to find spoiled kids im sure theres class's full of em at your school...where are you located? if my folks offered me a lambo right now i wouldnt take it.

Raptor2k 08-04-2007 12:58 AM

Yeah, uh, what the fuck. HIGH SCHOOL? Much less a SECOND Lambo instantly spoon fed?

dtorre 08-04-2007 01:24 AM

Whats the big deal? My first car at 16 was a Bugatti Veyron before it was even out.......................

I kid I kid.....you guys must get so much poon in HS with those cars I  to your moneysss

VikingDJ 08-04-2007 02:42 AM

That's just insane. Parents like that are why the world has become what it is today. Don't blame the kids. The parents? A complete disgrace.

I don't recommend posting on here kid. You're in your own little rich world, and it won't fit in here. ;) :)

Kane 08-04-2007 02:54 AM

It is not his, it is his buddies apparently, so why is everyone busting his balls?

Raptor2k 08-04-2007 03:04 AM

Yea, come on guys, let's not shoot the messenger.

What I'm curious about, besides the sagacious parenting, is the behavior of the other students at the school towards the car and its 'owner'. Maybe Evitnecni can fill us in on how that goes.

Sorry, I meant I don't recommend posting things like this. You can post all you want, but if it is teenage spoiled rich stuff, you're always gonna get flack. If you exploit a spoiled life and bad parenting, it's bound to set people off. I just feel that things like this should be handled discreetly. Not your fault you and your classmate come from wealth. Hell more power to ya, but be careful how you go about discussing it. I was merely giving you advice on here for future posting. :)

Kane 08-04-2007 09:03 AM

HAHA, the issue is twofold

1) YOU are not rich, your PARENTS are rich (goes for you and your friend). Good job being born to them, give 'em a hug.

2) If your bud wrecks a Lambo and gets a new one from his folks, then as a parent I would call that bad parenting unless the wreck was not his fault 100%. But IMO I would never get my kid a lambo regardless of my personal wealth. TO each their own.

You are going to catch heat (even though I defended you, see above), but a lot of that can be assuaded by your attitude. Hey, you were born lucky, that is awesome and I wish you all the best. But you are not entitled to any of that since you didn't work for it. So be grateful, but realize that kind of success is not attributed to you, it is to your folks. Hope this gives you a better point of view, on the average hard working (self made) people you will deal with all your adult life.

This thread cracks me up. Maybe there should be a rich spoiled teen forum, so the guy can fit in, and people can relate to him and his friend. Gotta love it. hehe ;)

Bastage 08-04-2007 02:14 PM

Nice pictures. Did you take them with your insanely expensive diamond encrusted camera? J/K

tajabaho1 08-04-2007 02:17 PM

dude........what the hell is up with u guys, look, if the parents want to buy their kids a lambo just let them, if the parents want to buy them a 1976 mazda pickup truck(my story) when they were 10 and told them to drive and buy food every other day, let them too!everyone's got a different story

cmon, although u "ONLY" have an rx-8 I'm pretty sure u got something better in your life than that kid or not, so what

to tell you something, in thailand, there is probably 10 rx-8s in the entire country cus they cost about 120k and the average money a thai person would make in his lfetime is about 20k....in his life time

so be grateful damn you! (btw, I bought my rx-8 my self and I'm 19)

ChuLooz 08-04-2007 02:27 PM

im astonished at the fact that when i asked the kid if his buddy was in high school he replied with " yea why" like he didn't think anything was strange. fall down to earth, what car do you drive?

No More Oldsmobiles 08-04-2007 03:02 PM

Geez, cut the young dude some slack. Why, when I was in high school, my ride was one of the biggest and most powerful in town.

(ahem, the city bus.)

User24 08-04-2007 03:05 PM

Hmm. Never had a car in high school or college, finally got an rx8 at nearly 24 years.

Lots of people work hard to give a more comfortable future for their family. If I were a family guy I'd like to give my kids the best. I do not assume all wealthy kids are spoiled and irresponsible just because of the depictions shown on tv. They are probably managing businesses already.

Raptor2k 08-04-2007 03:18 PM

^the first one liek ran into a taxi, lol. Fun car, lol.

Yes, I got my RX-8 early and I'm not opposed to responsible teens getting nice cars if they're well deserved. But we're talking about a 500HP Italian beauty, second in line, and will most likely be treated by a toy at a high school. This isn't a 350Z, Mustang, S2000, Audi TT.

A spoiled kid I know from my high school who literally buys his friends was given a Ferrari 360 for his bday, but only as a rental for that day. Now, that makes more sense as opposed to making one of the best sports cars in the world his daily, everyday car that he can play with. Although he does seem content with his twin-turbo 350Z. But at least the parents realized that a supercar which goes 0-60 in 3 seconds isn't the best thing to just hand their kid.

Exactly, I lol'd at the 'yea why' too.

Nice daddy's car.

I don't assume all wealthy kids are spoiled and irresponsible... from my experience they generally are.

I *might* give my kid a sports car, if we were that rich and could afford that expense (not to mention the insurance to cover a young male in high school). I wouldn't give my kid another sports car if he wrecked the first one and was his fault for wrecking it (It sounds as though it was his buddy's fault), he would have to work for it if he wanted to get a new car.
