Muscle cars are relatively affordable (but not like the "pony cars", which are not as fast but very affordable..mustang) with a lot of power and very easily, and commonly, modified. But mainly American made sports cars that are obtainable to the common man.

Corvette is pushing the boundaries of affordable, especially the Zo6. Same goes for the viper.

However, some consider American Muscle to be old school American cars known for their performance capabilities, which can be continued to today (for the ones that have made it).

I'm a big fan of muscle cars, but not douche bags which that viper owner clearly was. Serves him right.

The Corvette is very affordable compared to the cars it can beat around a track.

That's relative the other more expensive cars. Not what people can actually afford.
