If you like performance cars there's no reason to dislike either the RX-8 or the Evo.

It hasn't been long since I bought the evo, so I need alot of catching up to do.
I will have join the regional evo forum later.
Let me try and find that dyno for you.
I live in Ellicotty City (baltimore) by the way. Not too far from DC.

Playdoh...I looked on EvoM for a while last night but using the word "dyno" in a search yields so many off the wall results it's pointless. I could post some dyno charts from my local tuner, Gruppe-S, but they use one of the most ridiculously conservative dynos in the country. It's a Mustang dyno. My '05 Evo VIII put down 227whp when it was stock. An '05 STi does about the same. They had a 350Z track model they felt was a strong car that put down 212whp stock. On a Dynajet (sp?) a stock '05 Evo VIII will put down about 250whp. The same dyno will usually show an Evo IX at 260-265whp. If I come across something...and this thread hasn't been locked yet...I'll post it. The new Evo IX is definately an underrated car though.
