I have more pics to put up, just not the time yet. Maybe later tonight. You guys wanna see more, right? There will be more on the process soon too. maybe I'll even have him type out what he did, cause I haven't had my hands on the project too much.

Slight hi-jack since Shinka mentioned it.. my own dream is to restore and mod a old mustang unsure on the year but been a childhood dream. Also a 57' Chevy, just chop and cut it and slap a big ol' V-8 in it.
Like Chrism, Steakboy I wish I lived closer or I'd be down to helping your dad out.. doing sumthing like this is a once in a life time deal for most.

wow, thanks for all the support guys. More pics to come, actually, Ill do 10 more tonight. My pops agreed to give more in depth detail on the work of the truck. I'm not sure what he's doing as of pinstriping, but the paint job will be a 2 tone yellow and grey. it'll look cool. I think Im gunna skip the rest of the arrrival pics and go right to the progress pics. see ya in a few!!

Alright, a couple of engine bay shots before I get into progress shots. We are sticking with this motor because of money constraints.

I know this is a bit of a jump, but these are with the motor reworked, painted and chromed up. Also, the frame has been painted, the bed removed, the front fenders removed, the cab corners repaired, the cab smoothed and Primed.

Now we have some more shots fo the primed cab on the frame. That's my pops in one of them. There's one showing what 50+ years of E-brake neglect causes. The last one is the start of the bed work. as you can see, there's new tube steel framing out the tailgate. (the tailgate will be non-working when it's done.)

he'll be putting heat in. seats are gunna be (he hopes) from a newer chevy truck. He will be installing a CD player, 2 12's, a pair of components, amp, and cap. he's redoing the dash with new guages as well.
