Ya coupe07,I forget about this, I ask myself about the plug matter,because for my understanding from many RX-8 owner,we only need to change our plug around 25,000km.But why I must change 2 times and my car only at a milage less than 20,000km.Anyway thank for yr reply do mean to get anyone sue by anybody or to be sue anybody.

I completely agree with Peter Nah and Coupe07 - this is an open forum for all of us to share experiences and to demystify falsities. What's the point of threatening to sue? It's not as though you have a valid case to do so anyways. So to summarize everyone's experiences with Texas Revolution Titanium Motor Oil:
Texas Revolution Titanium Motor Oil:
1. Causes fouling of spark plugs, necessitating premature replacement of plugs
2. Causes misfires in the rotary engine
3. Leaves residue in the rotary engine and on spark plugs
4. Has not substantiated its claim of being able to work in rotaries
5. Has not substantiated its claim of having nanotechnology
6. Has not substantiated its claim of $1m warranty
7. Uses representatives in the guise of users to enter forums to market the oil
8. Is grossly overpriced for an unproven brand and oil: $300 for 5L, $1k for ATF
9. Makes false claims of 10-20hp power increase just from the oil change alone

Alright. Since im the thread starter and let me to be the one to end everything peacefully and close the thread. shall we ?
Guess everything starts from me giving out my reviews from using texas oil. Its perfectly fine from anyone giving out either positive or negative comments. Its an open forum.

In my very first reply to you, i typed with lotsa doubts in my head. you can say that im over sensitive in a way as i really felt that your reply to others really made me felt that you're real angry in a way. furthermore the thickness of the oil that u mentioned here isn't correct. you have cleared my doubts and u has clarified the thickness u mentioned is a typing error.
To be frank, i heard two DIFFERENT STORIES from two different ppl thus it makes me even more curious and wanna find out more therefor i have asked u lotsa questions and you gracefully answered each and every single of it. you have cleared my doubts.
As for the lawyer letter, i seriously don't know anything except for Zavier's situation.. furthermore i only knew it when Nah, roy and i sat down to have coffee together. you can verify this with nah. As for your case, i only heard of it recently but not sure of whats really going on. Anyway all these is between u guys, i got no comments on it.
Last but not least, im neither here to promote texas oil nor selling their products. In my first piority, Im here to sell my things but i guess its hard to let go in such a thread.

Pardon me for saying this. if im not wrong, quite a few of rotary engine cars are using it and only two cars surfaces problems. alright, shall not comment much on this as mine got no problem. *touchwood*

Has anyone done a dyno on this yet ? i've seen two dyno reports on this. one is a camry and one is a wrx. both changed their engine and gear oil. yes, it did increased. i've never done one for my car but what i can say is that the pickup has really improved alot.
there's a red 8 who just changed his oil. Ivan and guys know him as well.. 7373.. he's a very straightforward guy and always stand neutral. lets see if there's anything gonna happen to his car alright ? by the way, if i did caused problems, troubles or whatsoever in here, i apologise. you can't really blame me as there's really nothing happen in my car. i just say how i felt thats all.

As for texas oil, i tink enuf have been said. A lot of claims are unfounded. Even the comments in the magazines are exaggerated, if you knew wat actually happen. Watever it is, that is their directions. Effective or not, it is not up to me to say.
It's clear that u were an innocent party, kena dragged into this political game between texas and me. But it's ok, live and let live. Come to monster garage anytime, and we will still provide the service that every customer looks forward to.
As for ur sales thread, i suggest u start another thread. List out ur audio items to ensure quicker sales.
As for spark plugs, different car, difffernt setup. Nah's car is pretty stock, and he has got it. Mine is very not stock, i got it too. U havent got it may not necessary mean u will not get it. But since u have sold off ur car, that's the worry of the next owner. BUt do take note that Mazda Japan has a bulletin to stress that their rotary engines are to use mineral oil ONLY. The hard core tuners have developed their own brand of synthetic oil to give ur rotary cars the best performance. Oil issues, for me n monster, is clear cut. Use the oil that is best suitable.

Janson, let's give you the benefit of the doubt and say you really are an independent (It's kind of strange though as when I met you at the sentosa event you made it seem you represented Texas). Nevertheless, let's say you are truly independent and my sincere apologies if I have maligned your innocence as you have claimed.
But there is no way that just from changing the motor oil HP can increase by 20hp. That's laughable. In any case, the dyno test you mentioned is bias: the camry belongs to Roy and the wrx is hotstuff's.
Why am I doing this? Simple - Texas is making claims that are unethical, and if the uneducated reader believes their bullshit, lives and fouled engines are at stake. This entire episode started at mycarforums, where Texas in the guise of a user assured the forummers that with Texas they needn't change their oil for 50-70,000 km. This is highly dangerous, and unethical just so to push more of their product. Thus I'm doing this to help educate those who would otherwise get taken in by false marketing and misrepresentation.
So let's now let this matter rest, assuming that Texas (and any other vendor) stops this unethical nonsense. Texas Petrochemicals, if you are reading this, you have gone out to the market claiming a $1m warranty. In time to come, I've no doubt that you will have claimants for engine damage and I do hope you will honour this.

The hard core tuners have developed their own brand of synthetic oil to give ur rotary cars the best performance. Oil issues, for me n monster, is clear cut. Use the oil that is best suitable.

As for the decals as i believed you are quite interested as in why i pasted that on my car as u keep mentioning abt it..
It started with Nah as well. (im not dropping dung. feel free to clarify if i made any false statement)
All the while i've been wanting to paste stickers on my cars but can't find something i really like. Yes, Royz did approached me a few times but i turned him down as i don't wish to offend my uncle's side and my garage ( planned to put D1 tickers with st logos, done by visual consept) as i turned them down as well.. One day, i heard that Nah got Texas stickers on his car and i was like huh !!
I doubt anyone will believe the following story as i myself also dun believe. i was over at loyang temple praying and coincidentally Nah pops over as well without any pior arrangement. (pls be informed that he's not a buddhism) i saw his stickers and i find the design not bad. i was like asking myself. is it god's will for me to see Nah's stickers over at such a place.. i tell myself i shall go ahead with texas decals. gave Royz a call informed him and stickers was done the second following day at my house. colour and background design was done by myself and the sticker guy.
End of story..
Yes, the owner u mentioned respectively was correct. i seriously hope that the warranty isn't a hoax and may god bless no one needs to claim that as well.
