For sure mate....good question....where is the better shine and durability? I don't think it matters whether you mix ZFX with Z2 or Z5 in that regard. Anybody else know? Manwe?

i think zfx is meant for z2. it is the actual polish and it is suppose it help it cure faster....
Z5 is to remove the swirl marks......
hey bro better get some z5 for me. Whenever I see the swirl marks my heart aches.
Woot, you can get 100% cotton cheap from any place.... i got some from carefour....i think homefix etc also have a lot. Cheap and good. But i also have those super ones from meguires that you can buy from homefix. For the finishing touch....
Weekend is fine with me... time?

Yeah I did some further digging on the Z5 Z2 issue...both can be used with ZFX as I initially thought. Yer right Manwe, the Z2 will cure better, but can also use Z5 just take a little longer in between coats. I'll get the Z5 on Saturday (need to re-stock on Z7 anyway). Let's aim for Sunday around noon ya?

Ok...lets hope the weather holds out on Sunday. Manwe and I did the same treatment a couple of months ago Rock...clay, Z1 then Z2. A month later I did a light clay, then ZFX/Z2...easier to apply, got three coats done using only two ounces of mix. This time no clay, but three ZFX/Z5 coats to hide those nasty swirl marks.

Went ahead and applied the ZFX/Z5 mix today...three coats with Z6 in between. The more I use the stuff the faster it gets...a little goes a hell of a long way. Used only one and a half ounces for three coats. Btw, Z5 is great at concealing those fine scratches.
Was actually a perfect day for polish...no glaring sun/heat to slow me down. Manwe, should have come over bro, the rain you saw downtown didn't happen in the East. Woot/Sgren, let's catch up next weekend. I don't need another polish for a while, but I'll be around if you guys need some help.
Attached are a couple of pix taken after a joyride down Changi Coast Rd this afternoon. Notice the reflection in the side panels

Sgren...easy solution. Use a little dishwashing soap and water to thoroughly clean the windshield then dry it off. Apply some Z6 and wipe off. Then apply a thin coat of Z2, let it dry and wipe off. Then a little Z6 and finally another thin Z2. Your wipers should be gliding now
