Seaching for Open Port

Looking for Cool Air Open Port from McWell Ventures yesterday. Sales recommend "AEM" with price tag of S$738 with installation. They claim better that HKS and K & N. Will +10 House even @ 3K rev. Any commend?

Gee... +10 HP @ 3k rpm sounds like a LOT of hot air for a cold air open pod, and I'm not joking. Is McWell going to guarantee that with a dyno? They had better stop such claims before they get called for false advertising!

10 from air filter change and piping, not gonna happen, it merely shift the peak torque higher up the power band if not make performance suffer. NA Tuning requires precise measurement of intake piping size properly matched with exhaust to yield performance, it has to be just right.

Its so irresponsible to make such claims just to close a sale.

Do they sell bull-**** that adds 50hp?

Sorry, but i am pissed at them for ripping me off and installing a VAFC wrongly in my old car, cutting my wiring sloppily and selling me other bull-****.

everyone knows how difficult it is to extract horses from NA cars. Even the Greddy FI kit gives only a rather conservative figure.

I would like to think of it as $1000 mod for a NA car will produce 2..max 5 horses (excluding exhaust of cos). but my tyre shine mod will produce more horses of cos.

Tyre shine and throw in a fierce body kit and it will look and drive as if it had 50 horses in it! hahaha

No no no.... my friend. Must make it look like got 400+ horses and after that mod the car to HAVE 400+ horses. Hee...

After your mod on fri night, think you got 40+ HP already, so dont worry there are lots to come.
