Hi guys thanks heaps for responding to my initial post.
Mileage of the car I'm currently considering is 20k. I reckon it's considerably low for a 4-yr car. Owner also mentioned about throwing in car stereo + rims which work out to be something like rm8k+.
Also would any of you know if there are any reliable and profficient workshops in JB where I could service the 8?
Recall someone mentioned in response to my asking if it was worthwhile considering this unit, that it would depend very much on the type of oil current owner is using on the car.
What would be the ideal type of oil for the RX-8, and typically how frequently are oil changes required to keep in car in tip-top optimum condition?

geez I may be a wee bit paranoid but the only other hesitation i have concerning the car is that not many around in JB. Dont wish to be too flashy!
any other guys from JB with the 8 who might share the same sentiments? as you all know security down south isnt at all the best...

Yes 20k is very low. However, it can also be a bit too low. Find out how often she does her oil changes. Oil changes are usually done at every 5k, some do it earlier.

Honestly if you browse around the forum, you can find most of the answers that you seek. Anyway you can PM/e-mail our member "effie" who used to live and own a rotary in JB. He should be able to help on reliable workshops there.

my car was tottaly lost and gone , i nearly die , soon will upload the accident pic , it happen during heavy rain at plus highway which near bukit temburung , ( gopeng ) , and now the insurance will claim as the car is totally lost , wonder i just drive 90 only the car suddenly spin then hit the everywhere , really scary
