@ All: Guyz i'm not from your part of the world, i'm from Pakistan and pretty soon shall be traveling to Malaysia (KL) for a few days! Could someone please tell me if there are any shops in KL for Mazda RX8 spares, as i'm looking for interior parts in tan leather and probably a rear spoiler in red !!

bro, someone is selling the whole thing for RM2500 in sabah. u want? brand new. he bougght the whole thing including the stereo, he is selling the navi with controler wiring, etc.

Hey guys. I am interested in purchasing a reconditioned '03 or '04 RX8. I like to find out about the maintenance cost of this car in Malaysia. How about the availability of spare parts? Fuel consumption is a lot? Would appreciate any feedbacks from you all. Thanks a bunch.

An early congratulatory note to say you've made the right choice to switch to rotary
Fuel Consumption: 55 ltrs can take you anywhere from 300 to 400 km
Maintenance: Regular service (oil+filter) about RM 240 with Trust Rotary Oil
Oil choice: Use mineral only or Rotary specific oil (i.e. Trust Rotary)
Others:
i) Engine mounts RM 880++ from Wangan
ii) Ignition Coil Packs RM 1000 for 4 pcs
iii) Spark Plugs RM 400-600 for NGK to HKS Racing

becos F1ang GT are diff types of cars, diffrules diff game alltogether. theif F1s may be good, but dosnt mean their GTs have to be. becos GTs are actually passenger cars, the real chellenge is how to make cars designed for consumers fast for racing. F1s however are purely for racing, the chellenge is diff and therefore the approach is diff which they are probably better at.

Like i said before, Ferrari team at JGTC is operated by Ferrari owners club, just like the lamborghini team run by JLOC...... Those teams don't have the direct support from factory n that's the diadvantage against Honda,Toyota and Nissan team..... That's the main reason they can't win, get it?? If that Ferrari team belongs to factory, no way it will be unsupervised by Italians, and let the team run last in Malaysia GT race..... Ferrari have strong racing heritage, losing is not good in Luca Di Montezemolo's mind.....

A race is a race, no matter it's F1, JGTC, DTM, BTCC, ATCC or Super Taikyu, it's a race..... What do you mean pure race actually??? All these race car build from scratch and for racing ONLY, only thing it's related to production car probably is it's engine, chassis or outlook..... Bigger teams could afford a carbon monocque chassis.... Saying only F1 is only the 'pure race' but not GT, is just like saying only World Cup is the only 'pure soccer match' not others, Tour de France is the only 'pure cycling event' not Giro d'Italia or Tour de Langkawi!!!! GEEEzzz I almost fainted

yes there is one shop. u can look for wangan. call him at 0163283322 when u are in malaysia. if u wanna call him from ur country may be pre order something, try call +60163283322. there is also another guy in KL who sell some parts, mostly oem parts. if u need oem parts let me know i get his number for u.

bobster, i dont think wangan will have those accessories in stock. He will normally order them from japan if customers requested.
alternatively, you can always try to buy online at www.japanparts.com they have complete incar accessories all in tan color.
edit: gear **** MT tan color (yes), e-brake tan color(yes), center console lid in tan color (i think you need to custom made this one)

Cheers Mate ! I'll definately get in touch with Wangan on the numbers given above. My car is basically black with tan leather. I wanted to go for the gear **** (6 spd), e-brake & center console lid, all in tan color. I would really appreciate if you could also pass-on the guyz name 'n' number dealing with oem parts !! Need anything from Pakistan ?
