hey guys, really need advice since you all have experience..

i'm planning to buy a 8 soon somewhere this month or the next (my dad's money lah actually) and i'm stuck between either choosing 1 year warranty (from nz) or the Mazdaspeed bodykit (from somewhere in cheras). which should i go for? i cant get the 1 year warranty and buy the bkit seperately cos its quite costly.. both same price total for the car, around 160k+.

Full Mazdaspeed bodykit = RM16000 (if it's real)

then think of the warranty:
Ignition Coil = RM300 per pieces (4 in total)
Engine mounting = RM900
Steering rack = RM4000
Engine = RM14000 ( but i don't think they will replace becos it's a used)

So there you have it......

but the warranty might cover other stuffs leh.. but the bkit is too costly to buy later too

 

alternatively, u can buy the car with 1 year waranty then later on, u can change full mazdaspeed bodykit replica around rm2k, price are without ms wing.

so, u spent a little bit more, and get both. one stone hit 2 bird. haha..

* I wouldn't recomend installing it coz the fitment is not very good. Especially the side-skirts and rear diffuser. The front bumper is a lil more tolerable....barely though....... Put it like this, u get what u pay for.....

why cut corner and spend RM2k for replica which doesn't represent the quality for your 8 when you are preparing to spend RM160k+ for the beauty. It is just not the right way... have a look at Mazda Singapore for Mazdaspeed full body kit - Original set (Promotion SGD8,369 with installation)

there are always reason why replica been made for. even, ings+1 and veilside also have replica bodykit already. like what yohji said earlier, u pay for what it's worth for, cant expect a original quality with replica price right.

same thing goes to gt wing, a rm4k vortex type I, and cheap local cf gt wing rm1k+ or just cf look gt wing less than rm1k. cool factor more than funtional i would say unless u track your car alot. so, which one to get?

what matter most is still your own choice, becoz it is your car and your pocket.

 

i can only say the fitment of original one is perfect. if you gonna spent rm16k to get original one, u might as well consider other type of bodykit which mostly cost less than rm10k, unless you are a big fans of MS.

 

Mate,Some ppl willing to spend 16k or even more for bodykit and some ppl don't.If u ask me to pay 16k just for bodykit i feel like a bit not worth it,i rather use the money for other mod and i can enjoy more.There's a lot of mazda speed kit in malaysia and i don't think most of them is using original kit.In fact,the percentage for replica kit is more than original.ultimately,I don't think anybody can differentiate the kit is replica or original when u drive ur car around or i should put a big sticker at car bodykit side "ORIGINAL MAZDASPEED" Of course i cannot stop ppl to buy original kit if they r rich enough and money to them is nothing but atleast it won't happen to me...never and ever

Guy i need advice.

i saw these 2 guys doing replica FRP MS bodykit for RX8, on motor trader.

one of them is J-Emotion in Ceras. the other one is Motorsport Division in Sunway.

one is RM1800 for what i want. and the other in sunway is offering RM2800. what is the differences? are they good or bad?
