Yup......its very normal for Rotary's to spit flames out the exhaust. Especially when u get rid of the CAT. If u watch enuff Best Motoring videos ud notice almost all rotary powered engines spitting out flames. My previous FD RX7 spit out 2-3 foot flames out the exhaust. Very nice...... I light up the unlit highway roads.....
.........There's nothing to be worried about !!! Even my Rx8 spits out flames from 1st-2nd and from 2nd-3rd.......... So much so, that ive scorched/melted the black exhaust housing cover on the rear bumper......... especially above the tip of my Fujita Engeneering exhaust........
