sad case. all the road here is like that now after privatisation.
I went to a used car showroom (Jln Kuching) yesterday to look at RX-8. There are 2 there, one unregistered and one registered. Unfriendly salesman and not helpful. When I asked about the mileage of the unreg, he said the mileage is not important. Because it can be adjusted. If here no adjustment, Japanese already adjusted it. So he refused to show me the mileage. Maybe because I was drying a kelisa, wearing jeans and t-shirt, looked like very unlikely buyer, so no interest to entertain me. Waste of his time?
Can the mileage be adjusted. I thought only the electronic meter can be adjusted unless you change the dashboard. Please enlighten me, thanks.

Sick as in Very Cool....... OR....... Sick as in not working properly???
Dude, which part of Johor r u from?
I just noticed there is weird sound at the rear end of the car probably the exhaust after i turn off the engine. Drove it quite hard before reaching home.
Sounds like stones inside the exhaust. Tik Tik Tik Ting.... Tik Tik Tik Ting....
Is it normal or someone sabotage my 8???

Just by looking at condition of car one will already be able to figure out the true mileage of car. If the car shows a very LOW mileage (below 5,000km) reading, look at overall condition of car...... ie. Seats MUST look almost new, Undercarriage should be practically spotless, wheel housings should NOT have much much damage from road use, Paint work shouldn't show much stonechips (if repainted....look for overspray....), Basically.....There shouldn't be any wear 'n' tear' present on LOW mileage cars...........etc etc etc..............
If car fails any of these, then avoid it coz the JAPS definately ave adjusted it !!!!!! However, if car shows 40,000km and looks like it has done that much mileage......Then its safe to asume that mileage is genuine.......

Heard some member got their cat burnt inside...the burnt parts may go up till the catback?
just my 2 cents
Question, is this rotary or what,
my exhaust spitting fire when i shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd gear at high rpm ...
according to the friend who is following me, and the blue flame is quite long ..
modification did so far, i threw the original cat and center box and replace it wirth a aftermarket center box. autoexe exhaust, bmc carbon dynamic airbox. to fit this airbox we modify our own air mass sensor adaptor unit, i am wondering if its the air or something because if the air+spark+fuel is correct it shouldn't spit fire (on normal engine).
