I love HKS bTW. Does it look difference from stock to HKS (since HKS is silver and OEM is black/copper like

My oil cooler is done yesterday. Its not Trust oil cooler but a Blitz one. It's a bit longer than the original one. But the size would be about the same as HKS one (in terms of cooling factor). I use a single loop rather than two loop like Boony's. But the pressure remains the same (according to my mechanic since i'm not there). I spray silver paint onto my original oil cooler to make it even.. So Boony, you should do the same mah...hheheh
I'll let you guys know about the drop of oil temperature from my car.... On monday...

Bro, you really ask a lot........ Clifford, Viper and another brand which forget it's name are the best choice around... me using Clifford together with some other fella.... I like the omni-sensor which warn the intruder rather than trigger the alarm straight away.
But i dunno wat viper card it is but it might br the same as Marcus'.. so better ask him

bro..... do u know that the ecu of the rx-8 controls vertually everything from air-con to injector frequency..... currently there is no other standalone ecu that can replace it
and when u take off the cat ....u will have the cel lights coming on.... for that price i rather save up a bit and buy a turbo kit IMHO

Billion makes fan controller for RX-8s. I think HKS does it too.

Ultimately HKS F-Con V Pro is the best aftermarket but freaking expensive, 6k for ecu and oni authorise workshop can program it...
ngwei, i propose to you to use the Unichip... i think it should be cheaper than Microtech but has the same outcome.... One of my friend try to introduce me a tuner from JB.... he have some RX8 customers from Singapore that uses Unichip.... I think the Cost will be less than RM2500

.........continued
As seen from the pics..... the HKS oilcooler looks not as visible tucked behind the grill.......
I have gotten 3 more readings last night..... 87C constant at 28C ambience.... but after a period of wot and when i slow down to a stop for a longer period of time and the car doesn't move it will rise to around 97C i had my oil temp set on warning at 100C so far so good no warnings....
this weekend will be the day to test it again for the readings as i will be travelling down south will be driving constantly for a bout 3 hrs. during the day at temps above 30C so it should be a failry contant and accurate reading
here are the pics

Nice...
I think you do not panic about the oil temp. With 2 oil coolers we will never be in the dangerous level. I track my car in late spring (ie 2 months ago) and I only have oil temp to 110. Seeing the boiling point is 140, this is still very low.
In fact, the MazdaSpeed Defi kit suggest the warning light to be set at 135 degree . I set the oil temp to 125 and water temp to 110. I will not race my car on the track higher than that...
To be honest, take an effort to add a controller before thinking the radiator ... it may well what you need. Thermostat is useless since the car idle and on freeway at 82 degree (it is exactly when the thermostat valves opens). I doubt a 70 degree C thermostat will help much. It may delay the water temp going up - but it will get there eventually.

maybe i'll set it just as high as you
and the fan controller is it the same as RX-7s ? my friends are using pivot's fan controllers seems to be effective.....
when u do tracking how is your car setup? suspension camber ? and toe ?
what other mods you have on the car?
1 more thing, just how effective is the mazdaspeed rear wing?
