Same like bitbit's question, tried my 8 the other day and after 187, car refuse to go faster anymore. Who has taken the speed limiter out and where? Can Vaz-Maz in JB do it and for how much (I am from JB)? If not, where in KL and how much? Someone told me to change a chip and it only cost 1K+, sure leh?

my fren said they asked a workshop that can do that also....
1500=go highway tuning(can plus the hp until 220hp+/- on engine)
speedcut also cancel
i'm not very belief that....but i ask my fren to makesure that again,
what thingy,what brand n what model....

This is call the speed cut limiter.... Applicable to every JDM car.... No foreman can fix it without installing the HKS SLD or replacing the original ecu with the aftermarket ecu (standalone type).....

Pls dyno it first to know wats the horsepower on wheel.... High HP on engine is worthless if it cant get to the wheel
....

Pls make sure your ride is treated by well trusted mechanic..... Not many workshops know about our cars.... Our ecus are more advanced then before..... Therefore i dont think there's anybody capable of reprogramming our ecu in this country....
Did you ask VazMaz before about the speed cut??

I live in the lion city and kadang-kadang aku balik kampung with my Rex. Can you tell me where would be the good places that you malaysians recommend I can get me car done for repairs, servicing or mods? Prefer in the Klang Valley area.
