Handbrake give way

Hi All,

Today i was parking at a slippy road waiting for a fren. I used my handbrake but i heard some sound after that my car start to slide forward. is it normal or mine got some freakin' problem? my ride is only 4days old

no gear were engage.

maybe it is the settings on the handbrake. Just go to the workshop and ask them to adjust for you. Happens to a lot of new cars specially manual cars.

Strange...Slippery road doesn't cause the car to slide, correct me if I'm wrong. I guess you missed out the slope part, confirm?

It's probably the setting...then again, it's a good habit to engage gear when you park on slopes. My 8 ever kissed an Civicwhen I parked on a downslope even with the handbrake engaged.

are hand brakes are self adjusting.......

are they not?

if so..they wont be called HANDbrakes...call it autobrake
