Handbrake give way
Hi All,
Today i was parking at a slippy road waiting for a fren. I used my handbrake but i heard some sound after that my car start to slide forward. is it normal or mine got some freakin' problem? my ride is only 4days old :Freak_ani |
Did you have your car in gear too?
|
no gear were engage.
|
maybe it is the settings on the handbrake. Just go to the workshop and ask them to adjust for you. Happens to a lot of new cars specially manual cars.

I guess you missed out the slope part, confirm? It's probably the setting...then again, it's a good habit to engage gear when you park on slopes. My 8 ever kissed an Civicwhen I parked on a downslope even with the handbrake engaged. |
are hand brakes are self adjusting.......
are they not? |
if so..they wont be called HANDbrakes...call it autobrake

my car uses a FOOTbrake :cwm27:
