Hi all! As regards the finger; yes there have been people charged & convicted for this. Usually a fine (rude gesture). Unless it's a lady - then it depends on your luck. Hi guys, in Italy tailgate is normal, the only thing is that sometime you are at 200 and over and somebody comes at few inches from your back charging and flashing. when I am back in Italy and I am in this sort of situation, while keeping my right foot down, I gently touch the brake pedal with my left foot, the guy will see the red lights coming up, he will get soooooo scared that he will brake so hard that his eyes will pop out ....

wouldnt that make your car spin if you were to brake just a little bit harder. think its too dangerous doin both at the same time.

 

It shouldn't spin if you step VERY gently. However, those who are used to driving manual cars tend to step hard with their left feet due to muscle memory from stepping on the clutch pedal.
