hi...just got my ride 2 months back. hm...noticed that the 8 is quite a target for a lot of cars. quite irritated with these people...I mean granted that the 8 is really not as fast as the wrx, evos and turbocharged civics...so why cant people leave us alone?
...haha also noticed that a lot of Lexus RX300's like to tailgate me.
Care to share any of your on-the-road experiences?

 

One thing I've learned, when you're on the front row of the traffic lights, and happen to have cars like the sti or evos or especially civics beside you, and you're in no mood to race, just don't look at them. Normally, they'll take that eye contact as an invitation to race. So, just ignore who's around and drives off normally, once they step on the gas, and realize no one is racing them, they will just revert back to normal crusing too.

 

Those are immature bengs.... Many of them upgrade everything to be faster except their skills and brakes. Don't be tempted to race with them. If they go on and kill someone, I guess you have to take partial responsibility too...

 

Or u can just show them the middle finger.....

neon u're as usual ah beng! Well to treat those stupid kids simply ignore them! Coz roads are used to travel and for easy access tracks is the real place to race!! Be a safe driver. :D

I always kerna "chio" by EVO's & WRX or Sti too.... i just simply ingore and dun wish to waste my petrol
After they went ahead of you, later also "L L" stuck and stop at the next traffic light kekekeke

 

Personally, I keep getting tailgated by corollas & sunnys... cars that "cannot make it" but like to drive fast and push others. Maybe there's just so many damn corollas and sunnys around!!!

Of coz I couldn't care less. If I can filter out of their way, I'll let them speed off to their next speeding fine :p

2day while i was on my way back on PIE toward jurong saw a black RX8 tail gateing a black Euro R. The RX8 was trying to overtake the Euro R from the left . Then just as the 8 come out from behind to overtake. The Euro pull him away and 2 of them continue racing ahead untill i couldnt see them. Wha! they are fast car men! I think that guy on the RX8 wasnt flooring the paddle.

 

Looks like 8 drivers r cool headed people n not chao ah bengs....

Ok, i am cool-headed too u know. Realli... Dont race with them its not worth it!
Let them get pulled over by TP and hope they learn their well deserved lessons ya....As
u drive pass..........Dont be childish and jeer at them or show em the funky chicken or u r no better off....We should actually emphatise with em and sincerely hope they grow out of this immature behaviour and as you drive past, try to make eye contact with the driver and console him with a friendly gesture-------------> STILL THE MIDDLE FINGER!!!

I was just kidding about the 9 points.... no traffic offence will fit it... but can charge you for public nuisance though.... he can also file civil charge for intimidation.... but then...who would bother with such things....

If the person really hates you or is a lawyer... maybe so....

But police would normally let you off with warning... unless you are persistently annoying...
