Think the anticipation and then the feeling of being let down again is affecting everyone.....

Yeah, I think were all well and truly pissed of with the additional delay.

I dont think people mind to much about how long they wait if they know when they order (i.e. Merk SLK 2 year waits etc).

But having pople think its 'next month' then its sudenly 4 months away, who knows when it will be? People have to plan these things, get loans, sell their old car, arrange insurance, just on a practical level it sux.

Worst thing is knowing that it could change again. My wife just wants if before christmas, if its later than that we'll be canceling for sure.

Never mind it was supposed to be out months before the 350z.

Im at the cross roads, I am awaiting a phone call from senior management from Mazda UK, the outcome will determine whether i cancel or not.

Already started alternative test drives.

Dont want any other sports car, cant justify 2 seats so it may become an evo8 as the subby is just to in your face.

I'm looking at the Evo and Scooby or a used Skyline GTR- V-Spec if I can find a good one for the budget. The alternative is to get a cheap car for a while and evaluate the RX-8 again when I can test drive it properly and look at the colours on the road as well as find the best price.

It's a shame that the handling of it's launch in the UK has been enough to put me off buying a Mazda quite a lot.
