Sixth Sense
Driving back to work today I managed to persuade my colleague to drive into the Mazda garage to see if by some miracle my 8 had arrived (due 5th Dec)
I immediately saw a red 8 and a number of new MX-5's but no black. BOOOOOO!!!
I asked my now bored colleague to circumnavigate the car park anyway explaining that it would be easier to turn around.
And there it was, a black 8...... oh joy of joys it had to be mine because nobody else had ordered a black 8 from the dealer!!!
As I jumped from the car (forgetting to let it actually stoop first!) I jibbered like a lunatic at the man stood by it. Roughly translated : asking if this beatiful vision was actually mine.
The response being " no idea mate I've just dropped it off the transporter, I haven't even had the delivery note signed yet!!"
It must have been fate!! It's the first time that I have seen the black in the flesh WOW!!!!!! Although dirty it looks the real dogs danglies!
I must apologise to Roy (Mazda Stafford) for running into his office pleading for it to be ready by Saturday afternoon. (He didn't know that it had actually arrived at this point & probably thought that i had cracked up!!):D
Will be ready Tues/Wed oh joy of joys & I really can't believe how excited i was. iwent straigh to work to grab the digi camera & went straight back....

Had a similar experience myself today ....
Work was really **** with crap flying everywhere and by 11am (having been working since 5) I thought ... sod it! I'll pass on some of this pressure to my dealer. Phoned up and got told I couldn't talk to my salesman
, but the admin might be able to help. (yeah right!)
Wearily I apologised for calling and asked why I hadn't had an update about the car. To my surprise I heard the words "It was delivered late yesterday with another five; can we organise a day next week when you can pick it up?"
Thursday's the day and I just can't wait. Think I'll drive down to look at my baby 2moro.
