I'm thinking we should push the meet back later than February to make sure we have good weather... Even though it hasn't snowed yet AT ALL yet at Ramstein.

 

I do not know about which areas but the news report says it will snow in February...

Damn... ****... I was driving in town today at 50 or 60 km/h and I turned into a small lane and still continue that speed but the speed limit for that short stretch was at 30km/h and a damn speed camera flashed at me... Anyone knows what's the cost of the fine?

Howdy everyone.

I will be visiting Germany from the 21st of May to the 6th of June and was hoping you all could help me with some information. I will be staying in Berlin and I have to make it to the ring. I do not plan on renting a car for my general visit by may rent one at the ring for a lap. Does anyone have any experience with this? I assume most of you drive to the ring in your 8 but if you have any tips on getting from Berlin to the ring that would be great as well. Has anyone rented a car at the ring? How was your experience there?

Right here man! '04 Velocity Red. Sadly, I made a dumb mistake 5 months ago and got a DUI. My 8 will be back on the roads in short 7 months :/ she's garaged right now.

 

Looks like I will be moving to Kaiserslautern soon. Hope to find others! not active duty; am army civilian.

 

How soon? I'm in Kaiserslautern and will be back up and running in 5 months.

Awesome, we used to have about five of us here with an 8 and we'd meet up. Now there's about 6 or 7 but we have no idea who each other are other than waving on a drive by or something.

Hey guys I'm stationed at Landstuhl. I brought an 8 for $360. I had one before coming to Germany last year. Do any of you have experience rebuilding an engine that would not mind helping me or a shop that does a rebuild?

 

I left Wiesbaden Germany last December. I had built about 6 Rx-8s before I left. The only other builder I knew of is Higgi, a good buddy of mine. The issue with him is that he lives in Czech but he travels to Germany all the time. He has a ton of rx7 and rx8 parts. He used to come to my house in Wiesbaden about every couple of months. I went to a car show near him to show support for the rotary cars. He is also on this forum. Send him a PM and see what he can help with.
