Its a great place for bikes too. I really wanted one but my wife wouldn't let me get one lol. I still try every now and then but so far no luck...

Nah, I've been over the 8 for many months or more. I am very familiar with the roads in the region already, I spend most of my weekends in NL and northern germany.

but bse is leading you on a bit, i tried to buy a bike. I got taken out by some old lady while riding before i could buy it lol. now i'm still healing.

 

Anyone know how to get the air bag light off due to the stock seats being changed. I HAVE AFTER MARKET SEATS IN NOW AND VEHICLE INPECTION FAILED ME FOR MY SRS LIGHT. THE ORIGINAL SEATS ARE IN THE STATES SO I AM TRYING TO FIND A WAY TO GET THAT LIGHT OFF.

 

There should be something written around here, it's a matter of resistors and seat position switch anyway. Not too hard to figure it out on your own if you don't have time to search.

 

ill be at the nurburgring on Sunday and Monday if anyone wana meet over there. Monday the grand prix trak will be open so it will be 25km instead of the normal 20km.

 

Ok, so not sure if this person is on here...but this is the third time in a week a VR has cruised through my village near Miesenbach.... is that anyone in here or anyone know the guy? Just wondering...

 

Finally figured it out, all i needed was the stock position sensor from the stock driver seat and the 2 resistors. Light went out like normal. The vehicle inspection point was being hard core about it.

I live in the Eastern US near NYC ... I will be studying in Dortmund, Germany all summer and I would love to check out your Rx8 culture there!

 

I live in Oberstaufenbach, work on Ramstein afb. I've seen quite a few rx8s on base lately.

 

What does your 8 look like? There are a few here on base. There are 2 WB's here on base, the one I drive has a black MS wing and black wheels with a WB lip. The other WB has stock wheels and a blue MS wing. I've seen a few SS and GG's on base as well.

 

It's an 04 titanium grey, with black wheels and blacked out taillights.

 

I'm at Spangdahlem, and it seems like whenever I go down to Ramstein I ALWAYS see the blue with blue MS wing one, and every time I see it I want an MS wing even more haha.

I'm heading to the Ring tomorrow with a few friends, no other 8's though. Its kinda late notice to ask if anyone else wants to go hehe, but just throwing it out there.
