I was wondering if some of you fine U.K. RX8 owners could suggest a dealer I could contact about importing a right hand drive black and red leather power seat to the U.S.?

I just traded my 1999 Miata 10AE for a Sunlight Silver RX8 with the G.T. package. My wife has some physical problems and a right side power seat may make it more comfortable for her.

I contacted Mazdausa, but they were no help.

I would recommend importing from Japan rather than the UK. We are both right-hand-drive countries, and all the parts start over there anyway, and they have been on sale for much longer (we haven't got our cars yet).

You could start with www.japanparts.com as they have stock of accessories, and may well be able to source other components.
