Outside Temparature Gauge

Sorry for the boring question, but does anyone know if the RX8 has a display of the outside temparature.

During my test drive there was so much to take in, I forgot to look.

The US one does, and is accurate if on the move.

Now, my question :

Does the car Auto lock when you move off?

Yes it does have an outside temp display. Press the "AMB" button on the right of the centre console and the temp in the LCD display changes from the requested cabin temp to outside temp.

Thanks for letting me know. How many miles have you done now?

Still loving it (silly question)?

BTW, you can switch the temp gauge between metric and imperial units by holding the AMB button down for a few seconds. Not that you'd probably want to, but if you suddenly find it's reading Fahrenheit one day, it's probably because your kid inadvertantly switched it while he was playing with the *****.

Morgan,

I know this has been done to death on the main forum but are you limiting the revs from personal choice or from run in advice from your dealer?

Mr Rogers,

Let it rip every now and then, can't do any harm.

150 miles! Must have been sweet! How many miles have you done and how's the mpg looking?

EDIT: Forget that last question - answer on MPG thread....

I've done about 75 miles in mine and taken it till the buzzer comes on a few times. Dealer gave me 1/2 tank of fuel and I went straight to petrol station to fill up. Now on 3/4 of a tank with 75 miles which ain't bad at all.

Better mpg than I thought to be honest and much better than my Impreza.

Hang on what's this 4500 rpm thing? I went through this with the dealer today and the only recommendation was - "go have some fun". Nothing about restricting the revs or anything.

Understandably I have not been going crazy with it but I've enjoyed my 100 miles today!

"Don't drive constantly at full throttle or high engine rpm (over 7,000 rpm) for extended periods of time."
