I rolled my car into the garage just over 2 hours ago. We left Bryson City about 9am Monday morning.
All 3 cars in our "furthest drivers" caravan made it down and back with minimal drama.
Nice to meet some folks and see some of the cars in person.
Have too see if things work out again for next year.

BTW - My two DGRR casualities.......
1) AFR Sensor
2) Wastegate! I can't hold it closed anymore, I either broke the rod or spring..... I'll find out when I jack it up.
Not bad in the grander scheme of things that could have gone wrong.

Thanks! For a round trip of over 6000km (around 4000 miles) we did pretty good on the mechanical problems front.
The 84 GSL-SE had it's reverse lights coming on in 5th gear (so we unplugged them) and the 93 FD had it's alarm acting weird and rear defroster not working. As for in the RX-8, my 12V power inverter died so my better half couldn't recharge her notebook to play Angry Birds until we bought a new one, but other than that none of the cars missed a beat.
Killed a lot of bugs and burned a lot of dead dinosaur's though.

Chad, nice pictures. Glad I had you behind me on 129 for a bit. My car never gets any pictures otherwise.
I also like the picture of all 3 Nova Scotia cars in a row.

My casualty was bashing into the biggest damn rabbit I have ever seen going 75mph/
The clearcoat on my lip has been cracked here and there, and the dead rabbit head on the undertray.
Jims car died.

I'm happy the pics from the front turned out. It's not so easy hanging out of the window and operating a DSLR on the Dragon. lol
