Well I got there as the last folks were leaving *facepalm* but it was nice to meet Jeff and to follow Chad home for a while...his car sounds great, smells great, and flames great!

I was working on my old austin engine on my work bench when somehow I dropped the complete engine on my newly repaired jic-magic coilover. It's ******' busted now, it only took me 8 months to get it repaired. arrrgh. I swore for about 10 minutes straight.
I should have been working on my 8 and putting those bhr coils I got yesterday in!~
I don't think Santa delivers coilovers.

 

****. Oh well...it isn't coilover season, unless you can get one that lifts as well. I could have used that this morning...I'm the lowest car in the neighbourhood and I'm still on my stock suspension. I'm terrified to think of what all those nasty ice boulders did to the bottom of my car...

 

O M G !!!! that really sucks !!!! Oh man i dont know what i would have done eather i think i would be still ge yelling.

so i tryed to get out of my driveway today to get my snow tires mounted .... i got stuck in my own driveway and it took me 30 mins to get it back to where i park it at the top of the driveway.


oh and just a heads up for when the driveway macanic season re-opens i just pick up a 26 gal air compressor so jobs will go a little easier

I changed mine last week. Yesterday, we saddled up the RX-8 for a winery tour (in the snow).

 

Hey guys, I have a spare Panasonic battery for the 8, for someone that wants a "backup" battery or if yours is going bad. It works great, I have no use for it now that I have two mini batteries. Let me know, if not I'm going to bring it to the batteryman for credit in the new year.

I'm not going to put it on until spring, it was pretty expensive. I'm going to have to figure out a new way to mount my front plate too.
I can show you an internet pic of it though.

Chad see your signed up for DGRR, hope to see you there. Doug and myself are thinking of taking the 7 this year, if all my work gets done by the date. I don't think my 7 has gone that far in one trip since it's inception.

 

Just make sure you have some quality tires and I would recommend giving it the seafoam treatment about a month before the trip. We should arrange a caravan.

 

^^No Seafoam just cleaned intake manifold it was really not bad. As for tire.....
TSW Nurburgring RF Black Machined Rims Mirror Faced 18x8.5 offset 45 with 235/40/r18 Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 with maybe a 1000 click's, I was suppose to sell these to Doug but It will have to wait till we get back with an extra 3-4k on them, he'll want a cut in the price we agreed too.....

hahahah no they are in the car just not on the car i have not had time to take it anywhere to get them mounted

 

Got a late Christmas present this morning. I fired up my car for the first time since Christmas Eve, backed up and revealed a dead opossum under my car! I approached it carefully but it was frozen solid, so I scooped it up with a snow shovel and tossed it into a nearby creek. Noooooo idea how it ended up dead under my car.

 

I hate those oversized rats!

 

Hey guys, some guys are coming down from T. to go to the NAIAS, I am going and I believe Boffam is too (correct me if i'm wrong). We should make a fun WindsorRX8 day out of this. Veselini is opposed to america, any one else going?
