The Miata is almost done. A few minor parts and she'll be all good. The FD is almost done too. 1 last part and she'll be finished.

Sure has been quiet lately.

Neo, no news on brakes. Finally got someone on the phone though and they said they have the plans for doing 8's but haven't executed because original buyer backed out. Perhaps if there are a few people here who want lighter brake discs, we can get them made. Not sure about costs. He said he would get back to me and that was days ago. WTF!

Spent the whole day on Saturday at RPM's getting a bunch oif stuff installed: Progress Sway bars, Evo-R adjustable end links, BHR/SPEC lightweight clutch and flywheel, brake pads and RB remote shock adjuster. Say goodbye to any roll around corners Also revs much faster now...

So when is the next get together?

 

I could deal with a meet of some sort.....maybe we could get a few people together to go to a track day......I see touge.ca are doing one at shannonville on the 28th of june......anyone interested??

I got caught in the rain/hail as well while I was heading into Mississauga.
It was pouring hard as soon as I got to the 427 while I was on the 401. But as soon as I got closer to the airport it got sunny. So I figured the worst was over. It's not until I got midway through the airport that the hail started!!
I was so worried about the paint damage the car might have received after the pounding. Luckily it wasn't as hard or big as it was in the York region. I heard hail the size of golf ***** came down the Richmond Hill area.
As soon as I got to my destination I checked the car out for any damage. And thankfully everything is fine. No dents or anything.

I can't believe everything you got done in 1 shot!! I'm still trying to scrunge up enough cash to get the final pieces to my puzzle.
I think I'll have to wait a bit longer before I get some of the pieces I want. There are other things I want to spend money on.

So when's the next meet?

No, I don't give my cars any names per say. I just know they're women. I know my Miata is the scrappy little bitch, while the FD is the high end super model. They both have different purposes.

 

This will be a great weekend for a meet!
