exhaust tips tip -- NEVR DULL!

just wanted to drop a quick line here and say that NEVR DULL (available at CT for 8.99ish) is quite good at cleaning exhaust tips and making them shiny

tried out a can of this stuff this weekend and wow -- effective and easy.

I use Blue magic also available at CT, and it works very well too. Blue Magic leaves a coating of silicone on it when you're finished buffing which makes it resistant to stuff to adhere to. This includes soot, rain, dirt etc...

2 weeks ago, I had my entire MS Exhaust blue-magic polished before I installed it. Since then I haven't touched it at all, and it still looks shiny. No water spots or or dirt on it. The only soot was inside the exhaust pipe, and using a damp paper towel, I could remove it.

I've been using Nevr Dull for a few years. I'll have to try this Blue Magic stuff out though.

Yeah, just don't put your nose near to take a sniff of this stuff. It looks tempting, because when you open the jar, it just looks like sky blue sugar icing. Oh man, it reeks toxic as hell!!! Why would I try to sniff it?? I'm just like curious george when it comes to things...

The fumes from the paste if you sniff it closely will burn your nose innards...

what's wrong with washing it with the leftover soap from the car wash detergent? Never fails me.

Soap only removes the carbon crud, it doesn't polish the chrome. Never Dull takes the haze off and make it really shiny. This stuff comes in handy around the house too. It will turn any crusty old oxidized metal and make it shiny.
