Technical discussion: lower compression on front rotor vs. rear rotor

Wow what a thread lol. Which rotor did you test 1st the front or rear? The compression will usually be lower on the 2nd rotor tested as the battery will drain down cranking etc. Break in period? Who on earth came up with that? The Mazdacomp break in period is done over hours not days lol. Its something like the 1st 2 hours below 6,000rpm the next 2 hours under 7,000rpm or something like that lol. When we do a compression test the 2 mandatory things are 1st the Mazda factory compression tester and 2nd a battery charger on the battery in "start" mode so the cranking rpm doesnt fluctuate during the test.

Most race engine owners with lots of money break in engines on dyno's lol. Us poor people just find a track and drive around for a couple of hours bringing the engines up to rpm gradually. I cant see why a new street engine wouldnt be "broken in' after a week at the most.

The clutch disc/pressure plate/flywheel are usually "mated" after about the 4th time you leave a stop light. No different than bedding in a set of brakes. Frictional material to a metal surface lol. Next.......................lol

i have always suspected that we have an unbalanced intake. The intake charge between the front and rear rotors I think will be different. i dont have a flow bench to test out my therory.
I do wonder if anyone has ever tested the egt differences between the rotors- i am almost willing to bet that there will be a significant difference.
I also wonder if it has to do with all the front e shaft flat bearing wear we have seen?

Err boost is the next step i think. got a few things, Clutch kit, ignition kit, fuel pump, fuel line adapter for gauge.
Unfortunately this was done under warranty but i have plans for the future you may be interested in.
