Hi guys,

For the past week or two, I've been noticing constant "squeaking" noises whenever I slowly turn my steering wheel left or right. It only happens when I'm on the move as far as I've tested it. However, the dude with the problem never posted back, so I don't know if this is a problem. Have you guys experienced this issue? I have extended warranty on my car....is there a TSB for this, if this is an issue?

I get it once in awhile, maybe just lube.

 

It's normal. The screeching sound at low speed turning comes from the brake shields. Dealers won't do much about it, just learn to live with it.

 

Yeah, when I went to get an oil change done, I went for a test drive with the tech and he couldn't reproduce it, but now I hear it then and there. I won't take it back to get it fixed until it makes a more frequent and bigger noise.

 

search the stickys for noise hunt. pretty sure it is in covered.
