Squeaky Steering....

Hi guys,

For the past week or two, I've been noticing constant "squeaking" noises whenever I slowly turn my steering wheel left or right. It only happens when I'm on the move as far as I've tested it. Before all the hard-core posters get on my case, I searched this on the forums! :P Here's what I found: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ueaky+steering

However, the dude with the problem never posted back, so I don't know if this is a problem. Have you guys experienced this issue? I have extended warranty on my car....is there a TSB for this, if this is an issue?

Please let me know.

Thanks and I hope you guys are enjoying this beautiful weather today with your 8's!

God Bless you guys!

Ben.

It's normal. The screeching sound at low speed turning comes from the brake shields. Dealers won't do much about it, just learn to live with it.

Yeah, when I went to get an oil change done, I went for a test drive with the tech and he couldn't reproduce it, but now I hear it then and there. I won't take it back to get it fixed until it makes a more frequent and bigger noise.

Dude, check my first post....the link I pasted is all I found. I still experience the squeaking but not so often.
