Brake Rotors and Squeaky Breakes

Hello All,
I dropped my car off at the dealership again for the squeaky brakes. I had previously dropped it off two to three months ago and they came back saying that they resurfaced the rotors rather than the TSB because they were glazed and this was from heavy braking. All in all I was a little upset but the squeakiness was gone for a month or two and has intermittently been coming back. I dropped off the car again and again they came back with the statement that the rotors were glazed and that this was from heavy braking. I have driven 2000 miles since this last happened and those are mainly highway. I explained to the service manager that this was certainly not due to my driving style. I
drive in a spirited fashion have never experienced this from any of my other cars which get driven a lot hard and that if these rotors are continually being glazed they should determine whether they are defective and that this should be a warranty issue. He stated that he would contact Mazda and let me know.

In the meantime do any of you have any honest suggestions. For a car that gets driven lightly this should not be occurring. Have the rest of you experienced this. What causes glazing besides fast warming and cooling of the rotors? Or is this from the pads?

Any help is much appreciated.

there IS a TSB to replace the squeaky front brake pads with a newer type of pads:

I stated I had squeaky brakes and the dealer replaced my front pads with the new stuff without any problems.

no problems at all with my rotors, and that includes 2 FULL DAYS of track driving

they're a nice dark shiny gray color, which is exactly what rotors in good condition and properly bedded should look like :D

Thats exactly why I don't fall for this argument. Most of the driving has been highway and with this type of car rotors should not be having problems.

I agree with you but the rotors should not be glazing over this fast.
