Agreed
And it was soooo borderline if I recall correctly.

Try a ATF and Seafoam treatment ... it won't hurt.

In the end as long as the car runs fine, try not to let it bother you.
But just keep it in the back of your head that you want to get that new engine before your warrenty is up .. start gathering those oil change receipts.

Case in point using my engine as an example, my values were below yours at the time of the test, and going back, I had been complaining of those symptoms since spring 2011. I recall faithfully the backstraight at Mosport how RevRX8 (Jay's) car whom was in front of me was pulling away like no tomorrow. I was sure my exit speed and gear were correct at corner 5B, I had one extra passenger but it can't have made that much difference on the backstraight. At that time I had that nasty noise/rattle and powerloss; symptoms of low compression.

For you Ken, if you're not tracking your car, daily driving you'll be fine with low compression.
Thanks for the encouraging words Andrew. Ill keep daily driving it till spring of next year before my warranty is over then get the engine replaced. I will need your help with what they asked for, what i should not do and what i should do when trying to get my new engine from Avante.

Ya the car runs fine. It starts up fine even in warm weather. Just the fact that i know i have "below minimum" compression on my front rotor pisses me off. But i guess ill keep driving it the way it is now and get the engine replaced spring of 2013 before my warranty is up. I want to the most of this engine as i can before i get the new one In the mean time im gonna seafoam it and replace my plugs soon.

I cant thank you enough Scott for help and advice.
