Thanks again Footman.

Even though I didn't sign up, all your hard work is much appreciated =)

Attrition rate of 61% is EXCELLENT for a cloudy/foggy day indeed!

Cruise was fantastic. I have to admit, to my shame, I was worried the group would bail, after that viscious bout of fog we hit in Aurora. But no, we pushed on, and sure enough the fog lifted, leaving us a beautiful afternoon up north ... albeit with several unusually *urgent* bathroom pitstops.

Thanks again Footman, had a blast. Sorry I couldn't make it for dinner; by the way, how was the food? :D

Still doesn't work. The file downloads with either link, but trying to open it, it says it's not a valid zip archive.

Damn! The weather was really foggy.

Again, I'm sorry I couldn't attend. Too many things have piled up at the last minute, and Sun. was the only day I could do them. Then I took a look at the weather, and decided to get the other things done first.

At least it was good to see so many people show up!

Spring my friend! I promise. Has your girl got around to ordering her Miata yet?

9 out of 23 people made it actually on the Southwood13 road.
1 person lost

Attrition rate 61%. Not bad for a cloudy/foggy day. For all the weather NON BELIEVERS, just want to let you know that by Newmarket, it was just cloudy and the roads were drying. For the duration of the entire day, it only rained during dinner when we came back
technically i didn't back out =] well of the cruise, then yeah but i came for Chako's and met you guys before!! haha oh the technicalities =D

and well i don't know about you guys, but i felt SUPER bloated last night...even this morning, the food did not sit well in my stomach, but that was just probably cuz i ate too much :D

I didn’t get lost lol. I lost you guys at the lights turning on to Leslie and then attempted to a catch up but it seem like I caught every light from then on. When I reached the 404 with no one in sight I decided just to take off. I am glad you guys had a good cruise, and at least I got to meet some of you.

404? You went too far, you were supposed to left on Leslie heading north. The map instructions were given to you, I hope you had read.

I went up Leslie and turned right on Stouffville road. Thats where I decided to take the 404 south instead of turing left and continuing up leslie.

Ahh too bad Apollo, you were just short of the area where we stopped to wait. You probably could have hoofed it up to Davis Dr or so, overtaken the group, and then waited for us. No way to be sure with these things though, I know the feeling, trust me. :P

With all that said, we could surely take away some important lessons on group driving. Make sure there are radios spread out, particularly at the head and the tail of the group, and perhaps most importantly, establish better practices for pull-overs!

Nevertheless, I couldn't have asked for a better time. See you guys on the next one!

pulling over is so hard to do with a large group and on busy streets.

From my experience, best is to study/know the route well in-advance. Don't drive like a pansy, and stay with the group to the best of your ability. If you get cut off, try your hardest to rejoin the group.

*try your hardest*!!!

If you've ever driven with the rx7club people on their cruise, you will know.. you will need a lead foot and no-fear for cops to even remotely keep up with them.

Rxeckless, Scottish, and myself have had that experience!

True enough. Yeah I could tell what you guys were pushing for. And I'm down with going all out. But some people might not care for that kind of drive, and we don't *always* have to leave them in the dust.

Anyway, you did well Footman, let it be known! I hope I can do as well, if/when I manage to organize some drives of my own.

It's not hard, honestly... and it really depends on dedication on the members here, and the quality of the members.

If Sunday's turn out was like 4, and 21 people signed up, I'd damn sure let people know on this forum about it. You could give a rats *** about my anger and rage, but I'm still going to give you a piece of my mind. Then after that, I would simply retire from organizing anything ever again.

I am glad so many of you showed up on a foggy day.
