OFFICIAL Fall Cruise 2010 thread

All ex-RX8 owners are allowed to attend in their current vehicle
01Racing is definitely allowed as a special guest
All other people who come on this forum and are cool people can also come; if you are a jackass/douchebag afterwards, then you'll obviously realize that no one at the cruise wants to talk to you.

The cruise is 4 parts.
PART A) scenic tour around lake simcoe stopping at Washago.
PART B) Actual Southwood Rd. 13 twisties to Gravenhurst
PART C) Gravenhurst back to Richmond Hill for dinner
PART D) *optional Bubble tea*

Itinerary as follows:
12 to 1:00pm : Meet at McDonalds plaza at the corner of Valleymede and Hwy 7. This is near the intersection of HWY 404 and HWY 7. In this plaza there is McDonalds, I kinda like the idea of hanging out for a bit, shoot the ****, chat, and maybe eat a small meal in the parking lot or sit inside if you all want. Across the street is SHELL Gas station and on the other side is also a Tim Hortons. We can just hang back relax and chat for a bit; also give room for stragglers and people from afar that may have gotten stuck/lost in traffic. I find that sometimes 30 minutes of waiting is not sufficient for the really lazy people. Time goes by pretty quickly too, so 1 hours isn't that bad and we can eat a small lunch there at McDonalds.
If Sunny, I'll be outside eating McDonald's. If rainy, I will be inside the McDonald's.

The McDonald's is on the north east corner. The Shell is on the north west corner. The Tim Horton's is on the south east corner.
Please fill up your gas tank at the Shell across the street.
1:00pm: Roll out to Washago taking the scenic route there... Because it's scenic, it'll be about 2 - 2.5 hours long.

We will be stopping at Washago for a quick 10 minute bathroom break, snack, juice whatever you want before doing Southwood Rd. The stop point is a little restaurant in Washago.
3:30pm: Southwood twisties passing through Torrance then east to Gravenhurst. We will be stopping at Gravenhurst to take a 10 minute break, stretch your legs.

Afterwards, we will drive through Gravenhurst downtown to a Sunoco gas station to fill up for the drive back home.

5:00pm - Leave Gravenhurst, return to Richmond Hill for CHAKO BBQ for some Korean grilled dinner, arrive around 6:30pm

After dinner, there's plenty of bubble tea spots around the area we can hit up if people are still up for it. Otherwise, everyone can go home after that. You will be conveniently located near 404 highway you anyone can get home quickly without being lost.

They would help, though my co-pilot girlfriend will be doing the talking though as I have to concentrate on driving. It would be best that the person who volunteers to be at the back of the line have the other walkie talky.

I found on the US cruise we did last year that the radios add an extra fun element on the more boring straightforward sections of a given cruise. at least if a bunch of people have them. I remember being stuck in traffic for what seemed like a life time on the 403 trying to get back to scotts house and we ended up making fun of other cars and chit chatting to pass the time. lol.
If no one else brings their own then at least we will have mine to help keep everyone together if need be.
