Hey Vincent. The logo looks good, however, in my opinion, I don't think the "RX-8" and the line below it flows with the image to the right.

I think the designs should be more "cartoony" with solid lines as I think that would translate better. There should be some thought to the negative space and how that would look on the glass.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

 

Beansbaxter, that's a good point... we would have to go simpler if we want it to look good on the windshield.

BTW, are you coming out to our next meet? Don't worry if you haven't found your 8 by then, just come out and chill.

Are you talking about the autocross meet on July 3rd? If so, I'll be out of town that weekend.

There are a couple 8's I have my eye on at the moment, but will need to find some time to go check them out. I'm actually not entirely settled on getting another 8, but it is the frontrunner.

Anyway, here are a couple more decal designs:

Get an R3 there awesome I know from experience haha or a 40th aniversary addition 2 of the guys on the facebook group have them!! I would recomment getting another 8 haha I dunno what other sporty cars would be out there unless your into fwd cars which aren't fun at all in my opinion! But yeah theres lots of rx8's for sale saw 2 red ones on the way to Chilliwack today so I guess there coming out for the Summer time haha!

 

Oh yeah and with the stickers both would look nice I personally like the second one it would look nice on the window for sure and looks clean!

iirc vchiu and 1 are the only ones with the 40th anni edition rx8 atm. there is another individual with it...i think i was told there was only 3 in vancouver...i have been looking for the 3rd one but it is abit hard to find lol

One way to do it would be to post one vector file here and anyone who wants it can go and have it printed... That auto accessory place in Metrotown for example charges ~$7 for one of these. We should all stick to one of them however but change the color if we wanted to...

The other option would be to print 10 - 20 of them depending on how many people want one.

Hey cccid! welcome and congrats! Theres going to be a little gathering of a few 8's this weekend in Pitt Meadows if you are down to come! Theres and auto cross event there and some 8's from the rx8club are going...we also have a facebook group if you would like to join its called Vancouver Rx8 club there quite a few of us on there...

And with the stickers I really like the rotor with Vancouver Rx8 club in it looks really sharp...We should try and post it on the facebook group to see if others will like it as well but I am pretty sure they will...I would do it myself but dont know how too...looking forward to seeing some 8's at the auto cross event this weekend!

Folks, dudes, and dudettes! beanbaxter is sending me the file... as he requested (and I agree with him) I won't be posting the file on the forum... we want to keep our logo unique. Let's also decide on the dimension so that we are all consistent. I think 3"x3"... anything bigger and it will lose its elegance... smaller and you can hardly see it.

I will send people the file in return for their email address. This way I also want to put together a mailing list for our club. So PM me your email address and I will have it sent to you as soon as I get it myself. I will also ask around to find the best quality / price.
