That's Indiana's RX8 club... I guess we both got the idea from the same Eat, Sleep, Autocross sticker.

 

For those of you haven't seen the Facebook page, we are going to print a limited number of window decals for the club... it's going to be similar to the Vancouver Subaru Club ones that you have most likely seen (~3x4). I asked people to get creative and come up with some logos / ideas. Here are two that I came up with. For the second one, I'm thinking either a transparent one or one that you apply and take off with the letters / shapes staying on.

Vincent, I like the logo but I would change where the words are placed... they look kind of random. Something clean and simple would be easier to print as well... also, I will need a vector file to send to the printer.

 

ya I like Vinces logo but would like the words maybe straight across!

Hey Everyone,

Sorry for not updating you guys about the website. I purposely avoided this site after my car was totaled last December... just didn't want to think about it anymore.

Anyway, the car was finally paid out by ICBC a couple months back and we decided to get a new Nissan Murano. Although it's a nice SUV, I missed driving the 8, so I've been looking around the past couple of weeks for a used one as a second/weekend car. Can't believe how cheap they are now... which is good for me! Hopefully I'll find a decent one before the end of Summer.

Vincent, if you're still a go for the website, let me know and I can get that going. Thanks.

 

Here are a couple of quick ideas for the decals. Based on the old BCRX8 decal, I just "jazzed" it up a bit.

btw I like ben's logo so far now sorry vince haha Ben the 2 more ideas you posted I like the first one out of the 2 but it would look better if the car was takin out of the way and the Vancouver rx8 moved up to the center then it would like much better in my opinion!

 

beansbaxter sorry to hear about your car... Same thing happened to my miata and I know how it feels. Having the RX8 as a fun car (track car for me) is great... it's cheaper for me to have two cars than to run just the 8. Also, I don't have to worry about my good car getting scratched etc.

We have some nice logos here but I think we should go with a black and white or a mono-color design as it would be easier and cheaper to make.

yeah black or white would look better thats for sure! should show up nice! Would there be different colors available or just straight black for now?

 

The Subaru club has a few options but I would rather do a nice consistent one for everyone.

 

Yeah a consistent one would work as well just hopefully it shows up on our cars u know!

Reminds me of when I span around for hours to get dizzy... no pre-mixing required... although my brain must have a few worn out apex seals.

I can always change the font if we decide which one we are going with.
