Is my dealer giving me BS?
Took my car in for 8000km service today. Told them to do a L reflash and their facial expression was in between a puzzled and a worried look.... I came back to pick it up and they told me that my car's "running fine" and the reflash is for cars that are made earlier than mine. Mine was made in Dec (inside door) and I told him well, the L reflash cures the rich mixture and leans it out and the guy laughs and says if I lean out hte mixture I'm gonna have a misfire and stuff....
was he BSing me cause they don't know how to do the reflash and I should go find a dealer in vancouver who WOULD do it for me?
Edit: so has anyone got the L version done in vancouver?

Well, my service guys didn't know about the PCM reflashes either. But they also know I usually have more information than they do (I called and told them when my car reached the autoport last year...) so when I asked for it, they just called Mazda to find out what to do. No problem.
sweet when i go to get the factory mazda lip and rotary crest and the air outlets hahhaha its gonna be good ill ask them im gonna take a print out of this info just so i can act like i know stuff :P
Rotary Titus, to check for the L flash, turn the key on, without stating the engine, then tap the brake pedal at least 20 times in 8 sec. Watch the oil pressure gauge, it will move up then down if you have the L flash.
