sure we cant do this on monday just as a side note.....I increased the thickness of my tranny fluid to 75w140 and have noticed much smoother shifts and a great decrease in grinding in the 1 -2 shift

Hold up, help me out..

MT=90 Goes in tranny

and 75-90W goes in diff?

so tranny oil goes in tranny, and Gear oil goes in diff correct?

I don't even know what products i m suppose to look at on the redline site.

both the tranny and diff can use 75w90 fluid but some say that the MT90 works better in the tranny.....I personally did that and found that the shifting and grinding got worse with mt90, redline 75w90 and royal purple......so I did some research and " TeamRX8 " knws a lot about this stuff and he made some great points.......the extra lubricants in the mt 90/75w90 actually aren't good for our tranny.....it causes slippage and the synchros dont match up as quickly. So the 75w140 is NS or non-slippage and I found the synchros come to speed much faster, shifting is smoother....and most importantly.....I did a track day and ran her hard and I didn't have an ounce of grinding the whole day....I am happy with it, but its all trial and error as every rx8 has its own personallity

Sounds like your saying the rattling is your midpipe? That sounds about right.
Did you check your midpipe, make sure everything is still tight?
Hope I didn't forget any tools under there

Jay is your car throwing a CEL? the rattling may be a MAF screen. but than again that will more than likely throw a CEL if its loose.

Intake + Mid pipe + MS Exhaust = Nasty Loud.

When me and Eric were cruising back on the 401 after the RPM meet i can hear his car with my windows up and my system turned up. the cars LOUD at WOT.

it doesnt sound bad, but i know i would get annoyed after a while.

I was hoping my R-Magic roof spoiler would be painted and installed by Sunday but looks like it wont be

Hey guys,

Mind if I drop by for the meet? I just have a lowly tiburon right now but I'm thinking about getting an RX8 (I miss the rotatry whine (use to have an FC3 S5)) and wouldn't mind taking a look at some of your cars and getting your thoughts.

So guys, for those of you running 5w20, where do you get your oil? I'm using Pennzoil and I'm not sure if it's a good idea to switch brands before an oil change.

Oh... and one more thing... I think the Timmies on Woodbine and 16th is still closed for reconstruction isn't it? It was last week anyways.

UPDATE:
Footman (Andrew) dont get mad at me for posting this but I feel like the 8 club is pretty much a close knit community.

So guys, got a call from Footman, Andrew's mom, he wont be in for Saturday or Sunday. Got admitted to the emergency at the hospital, had surgery, buts doing alright. So ya, life happens like that, so he wont be in. Hope your doing better man, mom said you were doing a lot better, and thanks for calling and letting us know what was happening.

NEO Stop sending your parts to my house dude. J/K, but dude, the brake lever isnt in its coming in tomorrow, and didnt have space for the exhaust, picking it up tomorrow, or it might get dropped off here.

Also got warrens gasket and anthony's gasket.

GOT your fluids, guys.

I got 8 bottles of diff oil, 75W90 and 6 bottles of the transmission oil, MT-90.

rx8thunder pm when you get a chance, i think i might be able to get your those wheels cheaper along with the painting.

End of Update
