Hey, I am gonna have to say that I am out for this meet to....I could have made it monday, but not sunday. Even if I leave Ottawa to head back home to kingston at say 9am....I wont be in Toronto until 2pm....and then I will have to immediately turn around to get back to shannonville in time to do the track day at 530pm......maybe next time . Maybe we could do a meet a bit towards this way next time?

 

Warren you are not out of the loop. This was something that Jay and I just thru together at the last second.
I gave him a hand to install his Mazdaspeed intake and strut bar last night.
It took a bit longer than I thought, but than again there was much beer. I'll post pics.

Now just so we are absolutely clear. Jay's install meet is still on for next Sunday.

I nearly creamed my pants when I saw another LY the other day.

 

wcs has to leave this night snce he's gotta head out early to get packed for monday. Since thats the case, Im pretty sure hes in for meeting up at 10 am with me to get my installs started. I know Neo, R888 wanted to drive in later than that. Ideally I wanna get my 8 and rx8thunders in the garage and get those going first. Also get turbo8s and footmans installs going also on the driveway. Rx8thunder will porbably be a resident in the garage since the amount of the installs he needs to get done. Then when neo gets there we can get his exhaust on.

I know theif needs his maf sensor cleaned, was there anyone else that needed stuff done?

 

If we finish early we can head over to the RX-7 meet by Sherway Gardens.
But I have a feeling we're going to run into a few road blocks.

Do you need any extra tools? Any extra stands?

Road blocks, lol. Dude, I was at wcs' house from 7 30 pm to 4 am getting just an intake, strut bar and transmission fluid changed, LOL. Sometimes things get carried awawy with booze, food, and jokes, lol.

Im gonna go through the mspeed install manual for the 8 again, along with the midpipe. I suggest everyone go thru the manuals of whatever they need installed too. I have basic tools, like screwdrivers, socket set, hammers, pliers. Jack stands (4) and a jack. Wcs is bringing torque wrenches and stands, rx8thunder is bringing jack, jackstands, compressor and an impact wrench. So this is what I have

Prospectjtaz: Exhaust and Midpipe, diff swap,
Neo: Exhaust, Shift ****, brake lever ****, door sills
turboeight: midpipe
rx8thunder: exhaust, midpipe, pulley, fluid swap, mazsport ignition mod, spark plugs, intake, strut bar
footman: exhaust
theif: maf sensor cleaning
proficientone: needs intake to be reinstalled

Also rx8thunder, turboeight, did you guys get new gaskets? like the o ring gasket that needs to be replaced, or ideally be replaced when changing midpipes.

 

Rx8thunder, are you coming up later or going to be ready for the 10 am meet?

 

10 am 10:30 meet for breakfast/quick bite at woodbine and 16th ave timmies. Turboeight your familiar with this place, and theif would be able to get his coffee and nicotine here if you want to meet us this early. Turboeight are you bringing brake cleaner to clean ur maf? Theif you might wanna pick up a 5 dolalr can of brake cleaner to clean your maf.

Unfortunatley I haven't received Mazsport mid pipe yet. I had the dreaded flood issue 2 days ago and got the dealer to install new plugs when they fixed the problem. So as it sits now, here's what I have to install. Not sure how much of this can realistically get done at the meet...
